UNIBRIDGE steel bridge applications
UNIBRIDGE® has a wide range of applications. It has been has been designed and built to meet the stringent specifications of the Eurocode N° 3 for permanent bridges, so it can be used for permanent and short term uses - applications for UNIBRIDGE® are almost infinite.

UNIBRIDGE® has three options:
- All steel which enables rapid installation on existing or pre-built abutments.
- A composite option with a concrete deck cast in situ.
- A composite option with a concrete deck made from precast slabs.
Road solutions
Single lane road bridge
Single lane road bridges with one or two pedestrian sidewalks - up to 33.4m clear span using two box girders 1.0m high. Load capacity to meet most civil requirements.
Double, triple or multi lane road bridges
Double, triple or multi lane road bridges with one or two pedestrian sidewalks - up to 33.4m clear span using three box girders 1.0m or 1.25m high. Load capacity to meet most civil requirements.
Pedestrian and cycle bridge
One single box girder 1.0m high with two pedestrian side walks, up to 44.8m span.
Mining solutions
UNIBRIDGE® Mining Solutions have been developed to maximise delivery of minerals from satellite mines via road to the crusher, utilising road trains.
Military applications
Military load type MC80 up to 72 metric tons (eg Abrams tanks).
Rail solutions
Up to 22m spans, one single track only with one or two pedestrian side walks. Special oversized girders 1.25m high are used and meet most railway traffic load requirements. Read more here.
Marine solutions
UNIBRIDGE® modules are the key components of the access pier connecting the lifting bridge/ramp to the terminal building of a modular RO-RO (Roll-On, Roll-Off) maritime port.
