UNIBRIDGE Modular steel bridge uses

As UNIBRIDGE® has been designed and built to meet the stringent specifications of the Eurocode N° 3 for permanent bridges, it can be used for permanent, as well as short term applications. This means it can be moved later on to another location for another short term usage or on permanent basis.

Applications for UNIBRIDGE® steel bridges are almost infinite. Some examples are:

• Single lane road bridges
• Single lane road bridge with one or two pedestrian sidewalks
• Double, triple or multi lanes road bridges
• Multi lane road bridges with one or two pedestrian sidewalks
• Pedestrian and bicycle crossings (see note)
• Railway bridge with one or two pedestrian sidewalks (see note)
• Mining applications
• Military applications

Note: Pedestrian and bicycle crossings – built from one standard UNIBRIDGE® beam with one standard pedestrian sidewalk on each side.

Railway bridges – special 1.2m high UNIBRIDGE® beams are used for this application as well as mining applications - for very heavy loads.
